I was born and raised in the Lakes Region and struggled with substance abuse for over a decade. After many attempts, I achieved sobriety in Southern California where I then became a substance abuse counselor. With the drug epidemic here in New Hampshire I knew it was time for me to come home and help others achieve the gift that I had worked so hard to achieve myself. I have worked on the clinical side of treatment for over 5 years and have gained an immense amount of knowledge in that time.
I struggled with substance abuse for a good part of my adult life. I was born and raised in in the lakes region and that is also where I found my recovery. My journey led me to Fairbanks Alaska and back, where I ended up at the doors of the Reverence House. Not only was I able to find and maintain recovery from addiction, I was also able to find brotherhood and a sense of unity that was unlike anything I had experienced before. Through a lot of hard work, I was able to become a CRSW with the state of New Hampshire and start giving back to the recovery community that has given me so much.
